Branding and visual identity for Montreal businesses

People trust what they recognize. We give your business a clear, consistent visual identity, from logo and colours to typography, and apply it everywhere customers find you online.

Why consistency matters

A customer might see your truck, then your Google profile, then your website, then your Instagram. If each one looks different, it's harder to remember you and easier to wonder if it's the same business.

A consistent identity makes a small business look established and makes every ad, post and page work a little harder.

It also saves time. When your colours, fonts and logo files are decided once, every new flyer, post or page is faster to make and easier to get right.

For local businesses, the first impression often happens on a phone screen. A logo that is unreadable at small sizes or colours that clash with your photos can make a solid business look careless.

Refresh, not reinvent

Many local businesses already have a logo customers know. We usually don't start over. We clean it up, create versions that work at small sizes and on dark or light backgrounds, and build the rest of the identity around it.

If you're starting from nothing, we build the identity with you step by step, based on your trade, your customers and how you want to be seen.

We present a few directions, explain the reasoning behind each one and refine the one you choose. You stay in control of the decisions; we make sure the result holds together.

What your identity includes

We keep it practical. You get the pieces you'll actually use, documented so anyone can apply them.

The guide is short on purpose. It fits on a few pages, so an employee, a printer or a sign maker can follow it without a meeting.

  • Logo refresh with versions for web, social and print
  • A colour palette with exact values
  • Typography choices for headings and text
  • Simple rules for photos and graphics
  • A short brand guide to keep everything consistent

Applied everywhere you show up

An identity only works once it's in use. We apply it to your website, your social media profiles and your Google Business Profile, and we prepare templates for posts so what you publish looks like it comes from the same business.

That includes the details people notice without thinking about it: your favicon, the image that appears when your link is shared, your cover photos and the way your business name is written everywhere.

Debris removal and clear-outs

Service DEA

Service DEA picks up renovation debris, clears out basements and garages, recycles what it can, rents a tandem dump trailer and seals asphalt cracks across Greater Montreal. We created its brand identity and built a French website designed around one action: calling the team.

macOS software

Papagal

Papagal is a native macOS app that opens SQLite, Parquet, Excel, CSV, JSON and SQL files as a fast, filterable grid. We designed and built papagal.dev, the site that explains the app, sells the $15 Pro licence and delivers its updates.

Precision machining and gearbox repair

St-Hubert Machine Shop

St-Hubert Machine Shop has been machining gears and rebuilding gearboxes since 1979, but its website did not reflect that experience. We migrated and redesigned the whole site as a fast, fully bilingual Next.js build with a quote form that engineers can actually use.

Paver cleaning and restoration

Pavé Larouche

Pavé Larouche is a student-run business that cleans, re-sands and seals interlocking pavers on Montreal’s South Shore. We built a fast, bilingual one-page site that shows the work and turns visitors into quote requests.

Pet hotel, grooming and daycare

La Niche – Hotel, Spa, Gym

La Niche is a hotel, spa and gym for pets in Saint-Hubert, offering boarding, grooming, daycare, training, a shop and at-home care. We built a bilingual site that explains each service on its own page and answers the usual questions before the phone rings.

Residential window cleaning

SuperVitre

SuperVitre cleans windows for homes on Montreal’s South Shore. We built its website with transparent per-window pricing, then simplified it into a fast static site once we saw what customers actually used.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a new logo?

Not always. If customers already recognize your logo, a refresh is usually the better choice. We'll give you an honest opinion after looking at what you have.

What files will I receive?

You get your logo in vector and image formats, in colour and black-and-white versions, plus the colour codes and fonts, organized so a printer or designer can use them directly.

Can you work with my existing website?

Yes. We can apply your new identity to a site we didn't build, depending on the platform. If a full redesign makes more sense, we'll explain why.

Is branding only about the logo?

No. The logo is one piece. Colours, fonts, photo style and the way you present your services all shape how people see your business. We work on all of it together.
